Desert Needy Get Thanksgiving Turkeys

DESERT HOT SPRINGS – The CPV Sentinel `Energy Project team, along with Congressman Raul Ruiz, Riverside County Supervisor John Benoit and Desert Hot Springs City Council-members Russell Betts, Scott Matas and Jan Pye, participated in the annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway by Family Services of the Desert/ Food Now. Five hundred tasty birds were distributed to needy families on Wednesday morning, Nov. 27, at the Food Now location, 14080 Palm Drive, Ste E., in DHS

Michael Russell, Chief Operating Officer, of Family Services of the Desert said,“Following last year’s success, we are incredibly grateful for CPV’s continued generosity which enables us to provide food and children’s toys during the holidays. This level of support has a real and positive impact on our clients.”

In December, The CPV Sentinel Energy Project will again team up with Family Services of the Desert and Food Now to support the special holiday meal and annual Coachella Valley Christmas Store toy drive.

Mark McDaniels the asset manager for the CPV Sentinel Energy Project said, “CPV Sentinel is proud of our continued partnership with Family Services of the Desert/Food Now and we hope that other businesses will join us in supporting these two great Coachella Valley organizations”. The holiday events were substantially underwritten by the CPV Sentinel Energy Project as part of their continued commitment to the Coachella Valley.
