4K for Cancer

Date:

Andrea Escobar

Andrea Escobar is a senior Public Health major at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She grew up in Corona, CA and graduated from Temescal Canyon High School in 2008.

This summer, she will be riding across the country on a bicycle from Baltimore to Portland with the 4K for Cancer. The journey will be 4,400 miles and take more than 70 days to complete. The 4K for Cancer is part of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, and it is her mission to raise awareness about cancer and to offer support to cancer patients and survivors.

As a team member of the 4K for Cancer, it is her responsibility to raise $4,500 that will go towards the bikes, vans, administration, but mostly to the Ulman Cancer Fund and community fundraisers along her route.

The 4K for Cancer is a cause that means a lot to her, and she hope’s we all take part in the fight as well. You can read more about why she is making this journey at her rider’s profile. To view her profile, please visit: 4kforcancer.org/profiles/andrea-escobar.
