Barbara Keller was honored with the 342nd Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars on Feb. 3rd. Her Star was laid in front of her Restaurant, LULU’s in Palm Springs. President of Palm Springs Walk of Star, Robert Alexander, unveiled the Star. The dedication Ceremony was visited by Business associates, Family, Local leaders and Friends. Her 99 year old parents were in the audience to see this honor for their daughter.
Barbara is an Author, Mother, Wife, Board member, Co-chair of the Steve Chase Awards Gala and a philanthropist. She finds time to be a docent at the Palm Springs Art Museum and is on the executive committees of Palm Springs Art Museum, Jewish Family Services and Desert AIDS Project. She believes in giving back to the community and devotes her time and money to charities she supports. She and her husband Jerry were recently given a RAMMY Award for Distinguished Citizens in Rancho Mirage.
Barbara started her career in NY as a Playwright, Director and Union Organizer. She was involved with many aspects of theatre arts and entertainment. Accolades were given by friends and local leaders. Plaques, flowers and proclamations were handed her during the ceremony. She invited all guests to join in food and drinks on the second floor of LULU’s Restaurant to celebrate with her.
