Loma Linda shooting and bodily harm

On January 11, 2012 at about 10:00 a.m.,  Jermaine Wall arrived at the 24500 block of University Avenue and began arguing with the victim over an EBT Card.  During the argument Wall followed the victim to his apartment.  Wall yelled at the victim, saying he would come back to the apartment and shoot him with a gun.  Wall attempted to enter the victim’s apartment and was unsuccessful.  The victim and witnesses saw Wall drive to the east side of the apartment complex, where he was seen shooting a small black pistol about eight times in the air.  Wall was seen leaving the complex driving a blue Chevrolet SUV.

Witnesses identified Wall as the suspect who shot the gun.  Eight .25 caliber bullet casings were located on the east side of the apartment building along with two bullet holes in the apartment building.   Deputies conducted an area check of the complex and all occupants were found to be unharmed.

Wall was found to be on active Parole in San Bernardino County.  Wall’s Parole agent was contacted and verified Wall’s address in Colton.  Wall was seen driving the blue Chevrolet SUV into his apartment complex in 1400 block of San Antonio Dr. in the city of Colton.  Wall was located and arrested at his apartment where a search warrant was served.  While serving the search warrant a second suspect, Lonnie Epps attempted to contact Wall at his apartment. Wall and Epps are both validated active gang members.

Jermaine Wall was transported to Central Detention Center where he was booked for PC 246 shooting at inhabited dwelling, PC 422 Criminal Threats and PC 3056 Parole Violation and is being held without bail.  Lonnie Epps was arrested and transported to Central Detention Center where he was booked for PC 3056 Parole Violation and is being held without bail.
