Desert AIDS Project hosted the annual Celebrity Doodles Gala. The event was held in Palm Springs at a private historic home, Villa Alegre on Las Palmas.  The Gala was sold out again this year. Guests bid on Doodles made by various celebrities. There was other autographed memorabilia as well for sale. Proceeds went to Desert AIDS Project to help them continue their mission of helping people in the Coachella Valley. So me of the doodles donated by the celebrities were Lily Tomlin, Donnie and Marie Osmond, Cyndi Lauper, Jennifer Lopez and many more.

Doodles can be anything beside a doodle on paper, It can be sculptures, Sketches, Paintings and other art forms that the celebrity donated just for this event. Close to one hundred items were on display for the auctions or sale.

Actress, Author and Breast Cancer survivor Suzanne Somers was the featured entertainer. She was surrounded by fans as she entered the gala. She arrived with her husband Alan Hamill. Guests got more excited when the famous singer and songwriter, Barry Manilow came with songstress Lorna Luft. Cameras and cell phones were busy taking pictures of these famous artists.
