I was an invited guest on a Celebrity Solstice Cruise ship that took a trip for 2 days to show the media the wondrous parts of this fabulous ship. The Ship will be chartering cruises to Alaska from May thru Sept. If anyone ever wanted to take a trip to Alaska, This is the way to go. First class all the way with side trips into Alaska at different Ports of Call.

The ship is magnificent with its beauty and ambiance. The staff is more than courteous in its endeavor to make your trip one to remember. There is everything on this ship that you would find in the most upscale hotel and spa. Restaurants to suit every taste, an award winning buffet, Indoor and outdoor pools, Beauty parlors, gyms, spas, a casino, internet rooms for connecting to IPhones,iPads, ipods and computers and regular state rooms to suites with a piano for everyones comfort.

Glass enclosed elevators on every deck for easy access to all venues. A library and quiet room, and entertainment nightly with some added entertainment at the bars and open areas for everyone to enjoy. There are areas for dancing and even a grassy area on the upper deck to make one feel at home like they were on land. A few people were on the top deck viewing area and saw whales close up.

The night sky with the sun setting made for a spectacular view from the verandas at each state room. Huge bathrooms made it feel less constricting in each room. The art work on each floor is equal to most museums. I would say nothing is overlooked on this cruise as there is even a playroom for children. The beauty and artistry is elaborate everywhere. Comfort is key to the staff of this cruise ship. This would be a once in a lifetime trip to see Alaska.
