First Lawsuits Filed in Miramonte School Scandal

New and disturbing evidence reveals methods used by LAUSD teachers to repeatedly abuse students at Miramonte Elementary School

Springer was arrested last Friday after two parents came forward to claim that he had fondled 7-and 8-year-old girls at Miramonte Elementary during the past three years.

Los Angeles — Two leading law firms, Owen, Patterson & Owen and The Law Office of Jessica Dominguez, representing eight (8) sexually victimized school children and their families, filed personal injury lawsuits on their behalf in Los Angeles County Court this week.  Parents have expressed growing concern over the emotional and physical health of their children, including testing children for communicable diseases they may have been exposed to.

WHAT:          Press event to announce first lawsuits filed in the Miramonte School scandal.  Representing attorneys will discuss key evidence provided by family members distraught over allegations that two trusted teachers subjected their children to lewd acts for their sexual pleasure.  Attorneys will also explain how pedophiles select their victims and the process they go through to “groom” their victims and how other families can spot symptoms of abuse.  Immigration deportation issues raised by some of the families will also be discussed.
